Keyboard Shortcuts

The following table describes the effect of typing Instant Text keyboard shortcuts:

Shortcut	Effect
Shift (alone)	Moves the expansion table highlight down.
Ctrl (alone)	Moves the expansion table highlight up.
Ctrl /	Toggle focus between Instant Text and the Current Client Application.
Ctrl /.	Opens the Client Configurator.
Ctrl /L	Toggles the linking on or off.
Ctrl /D	Toggles the docking on or off.
Ctrl /G	Opens the Glossary Menu.
Ctrl /R	Opens the Lines Menu.
Ctrl /O	Opens the Options Menu.
Alt -	Minimize Restore Toggle for the Instant Text window.
Alt \	Toggles Client Application window size.
Alt =	Adds a new glossary entry to the Current Glossary.
Alt Shift =	Opens the Glossary Viewer.
Ctrl Space	Deletes the previous word.
Ctrl 1 to Ctrl 8	Switches to the specified glossary position in the Glossary List.
Ctrl 0	Toggles Spacing on or off.
Ctrl 9	Toggles Capitalization on or off.
F8	Resumes an interrupted expansion.
Shift Space or Escape	Clears Expansion List.
