Enabling Automatic Capitalization under Automatic Capitalization Options allows Instant Text to automatically capitalize the first letter after a period, a question mark, an exclamation mark, and optionally after enter, tabs and colons.
Capitalization after an expansion is dictated by the last character of the expansion.

Typing the abbreviation with a specific case enables you to convey the case you want for the expansion.

In case Automatic Capitalization is unwanted, you may either avoid it by temporarily toggling it off, and then back on again, or you may reset the typing context before the capitalization takes place.
You can inhibit Automatic Capitalization after an expansion, with a No Capitalization After Expansion directive.
