Typing Acronyms

Typing acronyms will require you to temporarily toggle off, both spacing and capitalization, which can be cumbersome. The Instant Text way to deal with acronyms, is to produce them with an expansion.

For example, expanding pobid into p.o. b.i.d.

will be a lot faster than

• toggling capitalization and spacing off,
• typing p.o. b.i.d.
• and toggling capitalization and spacing back on again,

with the following key sequence: Ctrl 0 Ctrl 9 p.o. b.i.d. Ctrl 0 Ctrl 9
