Not exactly the same issue

In version 8 Instant Text cancels the automatic spacing when typing the closing quotation mark. The problem is that IT has no way of knowing after an expansion if it is a closing or an opening quotation mark you want. This only happens after an expansion and after a punctuation. I guess when you type your sentence you are expanding w to was.

So the best is to create a glossary entry that works consistently for the opening quotation mark:
"q{NoSpacing}
with a short form q for example.

As for the dates, you may be encountering the canellation of the comma between the date and the year (if you don't have them as a complete glossary entry). That is because Instant Text is treating the 2 colliding numbers as a decimal number: 1,25 or 1,2025

The best would be to use the ITGenDates.exe in your InstantTextWNP\exe
folder under Program Files (x86) to create the glossaries with the complete dates for each year. It's very fast.
You can also create a glossary entry just for each year such as:
{Space}2024 etc.
with the short forms of your choice. But why type 2 short forms to get a date only because the year changes. You can combine the dates glossaries by including the ones with the years you want to use.

I hope I understood your issue with the dates correctly.
