Same issue but only in certain circumstances

Two examples that I have had issues with since switching to IT 8 earlier this year (version 8.70).

When typing quotation marks, any automatic spacing prior is deleted (whether following an expansion or punctuation) so I end up with:

She said that there was"no time". She said,"I can't cope".

Instead of:

She said that there was "no time". She said, "I can't cope".

Perhaps this is intentional to remove spacing at the end of a quote but I find it easier to remember to cancel the automatic spacing before the closing quotation marks than to manually add space/s before.

IT is also not inserting any automatic spacing after expansions that use date commands. I have glossaries I've used for years that have the date including the current/previous/next year using , and even if I change them to the new formatting of {YearLongNumber}, IT will not automatically add a space.

I could add a second set of glossaries that include a space, but that seems clunky especially as I don't always know if I need a space or not until several seconds later after the dictator has paused and then starts talking again.

I've double checked to make sure the S indicator is still green. There could be other instances of the same behaviour but these are the two that I've come across consistently in IT8.
