Space after expansion

Till yesterday after words/phrases I was getting a single space after expansion. Now it is not happening.

Have read the FAQs but cannot find what setting to change.

Been using IT since version 5 and my settings are always the same: Automatic Spacing is Enabled but all values are set to 0 as the editor takes care of that.

Again: It was working till yesterday and just stopped.
