Spacing after dates

I didn't think of making a glossary entry for open quotation marks so will try that.

Regarding the dates, my apologies as re-reading my comment I didn't explain the issue very well!

My clients use a D/M/Y date format without commas, eg, 12 September 2025.

I have a dates glossary that just rolls over each year. The entries use the commands from the Custom Date Time Editor and I have entries for the current year as well as one year either side.

For example, the entry for 12 September last year is 12 September -1 which currently expands to 12 September 2024. I don't have to amend the glossary or create a new one each year.

When I expand one of these entries with IT8, the space is removed: His next appointment is booked for 10 November 2025and he will...

When I first struck this issue when I switched IT8, I realised that IT now creates entries with curly brackets {YearLongNumber} instead of <>. I've tried amending my entries to the new formatting as well as deleting them and creating new ones but the behaviour of the space being deleted still occurs.
