Creating new glossaries

Thanks Emmanuel, I appreciate the explanation... But that is why I was confused, as I had not picked up on that specific thing (I had not realised that there was another way to create a new glossary) and hence was not seeing that when I was creating a new glossary, I had the option to select the type of glossary, and therefore subsequently includes (with all their colours) etcetera!
