The Import submenu enables you to convert a foreign glossary into an Instant Text glossary.
When importing a CSV file, Instant Text expects comma separated values with:
in that order.
When importing a Formulas file, Instant Text expects one formula per line.
Each formula has the form:
short = expansion
and produces a glossary entry with the corresponding short and expansion.
Leading spaces before the short, the equal sign and the expansion are ignored.
Lines that do not include an equal sign are ignored.
When importing a Text file, Instant Text expects one expansion per line.
An expansion can be a single word or multiple words.
Short forms are assigned automatically using your Short Form Rules.
