Date Menu Add Glossary Entry Menu Bar

The Date Menu offers menu items to insert the macros that produce the corresponding date formats.

The dates displayed to the right of the menu items give you a preview of the dates that would be produced right now. These dates are, of course, computed when the expansion takes place.

Yesterday Short Date

The Yesterday Short Date menu item inserts the macro for yesterday's date in the Short Date format.

Yesterday Long Date

The Yesterday Long Date menu item inserts the macro for yesterday's date in the Long Date format.

Today Short Date

The Today Short Date menu item inserts the macro for today's date in the Short Date format.

Today Long Date

The Today Long Date menu item inserts the macro for today's date in the Long Date format.

Tomorrow Short Date

The Tomorrow Short Date menu item inserts the macro for tomorrow's date in the Short Date format.

Tomorrow Long Date

The Tomorrow Long Date menu item inserts the macro for tomorrow's date in the Long Date format.

Custom Date

The Custom Date... menu item starts the Custom Date Time editor, enabling you to combine macros to build the date in the format of your choice.
