Command Pick List Pick Expansion...

The PickExpansion command enables you to pick an expansion from a specified Words n' Phrases Glossary.

This command is a very nice aternative to including a glossary. Using the PickExpansion command gives you access to all the expansions of the specified glossary. Everything happens as if you had temporarily switched to the specified glossary for the time of an expansion and then switched back to your current glossary.

When selecting the Pick Expansion... menu item, the following dialog

Pick Expansion Command Input

will help you specify the PickExpansion command parameters:

filename

Specify the filename of the words n' phrases glossary from which to pick.

Example

The following expansion:

{PickExpansion}
filename = "Glossary\General\Dates_MDY-20XX.xglo"
{/PickExpansion}

enables you to pick a date.
