line spacing;lining up text on numbered pages

I use Wordperfect 10; I am having trouble with lining up my text on the numbered sheets my school sent me on the appearance/index page and certificates. Also, I am not sure about the signature line that has to be on the bottom of the certificates, how much I am allowed to squeeze or expand the text to make it fit. HELP!
