Word 2003 and Windows 7 taskbar
I am using Word 2003 and upgraded to Windows 7 (from Vista) a few weeks ago. I have the Windows 7 taskbar properties set to never combine buttons. I open a batch of documents and I'm used to each document having a button showing on the taskbar. My problem is this: If I have several documents open and each document has a button showing on the taskbar, when I want to open another document, Word does not open that document on top. The newest document's button is there on the taskbar, last on the right, but the document isn't "open" to see. I have to click the document's button on the taskbar to see it. I don't know if this is because of the Windows 7 taskbar design. I have thought about changing the theme to Windows classic to see if that would change how Word documents are opened with the taskbar but not sure if that would fix it. Does this just sound weird or is it something that I can fix? Everything else works great with Word 2003 and Windows 7.
