omega symbol

Can anyone help with a formula to create the omega symbol Ω

I've tried trying to record the keyboard shortcut Alt 234 but the display shows Num4.

I've tried copying and pasting it but IT8 changes it to an O.

At present, I have a Word document open and copy/paste every time it comes up.
