IE 9 with Chartnet - Deleting words

I am having the issue where when I type the word "ethmoid," it instantly deletes it. I asked a coworker about this and the word ethmoid works fine for her but the word "mental" deletes instantly when typed. Ethmoid is a difficult word to lose when you are typing sinus reports. Is there something I can do to correct this issue?
